let me blog abt the father's day lunch first, then MY BIRTHDAY! :D

21june2009:
lunch was at bottle tree park. ordered those kind of set meal package(?) or whatever it's called. got shark's fin soup!! yummy yummy! started raining heavily when we were eating halfway. we were so worried that we couldn't walk around the place after that! luckily the weather was being nice that day. stopped before we finish our lunch. hehee. so walked arnd and took photos. the bottle tree somehow looked smaller compared to the other time leh. so strange. haha. anyway, my sister's 21st bday party might be held there! so fun! oh oh, and i saw that there's abseiling there! OMG, i want!!! ohya, and my sister didnt go for this lunch bcoz she had work. how wasted. lol.

23june2009:
okay, i shall blog abt the day first, then go on to the complaining part. planned days ago to go kbox in the morning to celebrate, but they totally spoilt my birthday. so we walked arnd the place, then took this ride called 'mini rider 2'. its those stimulator kind of ride, super fun! me and my youngest sister took tgt, then like 10seconds into the ride, she started crying. LOL. but she stopped after awhile. the ride is only 4mins, $3/pax! but fun leh! very exciting. haha. oh oh, they got 4types of rides to choose from. then lunch was at bakerzin, the food was so-so only. nth to talk abt. soup of the day is pumpkin soup, better than what i imagined it to be. haha.

next, met up with my mama then off to tampines1. sad to say, uniqlo is really quite disappointing! :( but we went other shops as well, so luckily still bought other stuff. bought my birthday cake at emicake. its those mini-cake in a cup de. haha. coz my mama say we always cannot finish the cake, then its very wasted! so yup, bought 4 of those cakes lo. the person only gave me 1 candle. zzz. anw, dinner was at some random place at kembangan. but their food is SUPER NICE! crab crab crab!! :D too busy eating, so no photo of the dishes at all. lol. then sing bday song, cut cake (with the plastic spoon provided), then eat cake la. haha. but the cake doesnt taste like normal cake. the cream is much much more than the cakey part. then its back home coz my papa had to rush back to work after that.


okay, now for the complain part. if u just want to read abt the happy stuff, u can stop here alrdy. haha.

DAMN THE SUNTEC KBOX PEOPLE.
hmm, will i get into trouble typing this?

on sunday, i called kbox at suntec to reserve a room and also the birthday treats which is exclusive to members only. the conversation goes somewhat like this...

jes: hallo, i want to book the birthday treats thing on tuesday.
staff: OKAY. for which time period?
blah blah blah.. the rest is not impt alrdy.

so on tuesday morning, me and her sisters washed up, ate breakfast and happily left house for kbox at suntec. reached at arnd 11.10am, then told the recep. staff that i called to make a reservation alrdy. they directed us to a room, which is horrible. lousy torn sofa which is plastered with masking tape all over. WTH please. it was alrdy a turn off for us. furthermore, we noticed there's no sign of any birthday treats (FREE cake + party packs + party sprays + balloons).

we asked the staff, who is a NEW staff, attending to us abt the birthday treats.
then she said she will check.
then she return to say they didnt receive my reservation abt the bday thing.
then i said i called to reserve alrdy.
then she said they really didnt receive.
then i said i really reserved alrdy.
then my sister asked if they can do sth now anot.
then she said she will check.
then she return to say her CAPTAIN said they can only give a discount of 5%.
then i was so bloody pissed off, so i told her i want to leave alrdy.
then she said okay.
then while storming out of the room, the staff outside still can shout BYEBYE so happily.

FUCK THEM.

1st: the bday treats include a 20% off. and they dare to say they can just give me 5% off. they expect me to be happy like that?
2nd: i want MY CAKE, PARTY PACKS, PARTY SPRAYS AND BALLOONS. they can only give me a 5% off. they expect me to be happy like that?
3rd: we were alrdy extremely unhappy and they still continued to let a new staff attend to us. then we had to keep waiting for her to go ask others before she can give us a reply. they expect me to be happy like that?
4th: i said when i made the reservation, the staff had said okay to me. which means she had noted what i said right? so why cant they just admit its their fault!? they expect me to be happy like that?
5th: i believe the least they could do when i stormed out, is to apologise. yet, they juz said BYEBYE happily. like i'm a very satisfied customer who juz finished singing. THEY EXPECT ME TO BE HAPPY LIKE THAT?!?!!

and so, i believe i'm not very unreasonable to make a big fuss out of this.

at the reception counter, we asked if we come another day, can they still give me the bday treats anot. the staff bloodly hell said NO. why? coz the bday treats only applicable on the bday itself, or one day before/after. LIKE HELLO? I BOOKED ALRDY OKAY! U WERE THE ONE NOW WHO BLOODY STUPID NEVER RECEIVE MY RESERVATION. and i dono why they cannot make an exception since i will still pay for it. not as if i demand them to give me everything free. and he's like a parrot. kept repeating that THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY RECORD OF ME MAKING A RESERVATION FOR THE BDAY TREATS. so i had to keep repeating that i MADE THE BLOODY RESERVATION AND UR STAFF HAD SAID OKAY! like seriously, i said this sentence for like more than 5times to them. i dont see why they cant understand what i said.

the staff then said he will make a call to i-dono-who. then he told us to wait in the room first. LIKE GO AND DIE PLEASE. i juz stormed out of the room and u expect me to go back in? so what if i'm not satisfied with ur answer later on? i'm supposed to storm out of the room AGAIN? wth. never think before saying. so i asked 'how long do u expect me to wait?' and when i heard its 10-15mins, i said i will wait outside. arnd 10mins later (i even asked my sis to take note of the time), his reply to us is 'cannot give u the bday treats. but can waive one pax charge today.' FUCK, HE THINKS ITS ALL ABT MONEY. ITS ABT THE BDAY TREATS, DUDE. B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y T-R-E-A-T-S!!!!! and he alrdy spoilt our mood, he's expecting us to go back in happily and sing songs?! ITS TOTALLY STUPID LA. my reply was short and simple (but very pissed off) 'i want my bday treats.' then he said the bday treats need to prepare, so need to make advanced reservations. guess what my sister replied 'so you saying we are lying la' and the staff replied 'not to say whose fault is it now la...' SO HE'S STILL INSISTING THAT ITS NOT THEIR FAULT! seriously, if they juz admit its their fault, i wouldnt be making such a big fuss then. and so, we asked again.. if we come on another day, are they willing to give us the bday treats anot. the staff said he will try to arrange, maybe they will ask us to go down on another day instead. so i juz said 'so now we are at your beck and call la'. was meant to be muttering under my breath, but too bad he heard me. so he said 'no la, can choose when u want to come now'. so he asked us to go home and that he will call the next day.

but then, he called me in the evening. say i need to go the next day coz the bday treats at most is one day after the actual day. WHAT THE HELL LA. he still dared to say we can choose when we want to go. FUCK LA. so i juz told him i dont want to go alrdy.

okay, the end. the ending sucks la. damn. coz i havent had enough time to think of a nice answer to talk back, u see. zzz. so wasted.

but anw, I STILL DONT THINK I'M UNREASONABLE IN THIS CASE. bcoz obviously its their fault, not mine.

if u think i'm unreasonable and making a mountain out of a molehill, try spending ur bday in this kind of sucky situation as well. maybe then, u will understand how i felt that time.
